The 2025 Equality Ball, hosted by Garden State Equality, was an unforgettable evening of celebration, advocacy, and community. Held on May 30, 2025, at the iconic Asbury Hotel in Asbury Park, New Jersey, the event brought together attendees from diverse backgrounds, all united in supporting the LGBTQ+ cause. The evening featured prominent figures such as Governor Phil Murphy, First Lady Tammy Murphy, Newark Mayor Ras Baraka, and various New Jersey politicians and activists.

This premier event also included the exclusive BarCanna Cannabis Experience, proudly sponsored by Verano Brands. Guests had the unique opportunity to explore a sophisticated and educational cannabis offering, including Avexia-infused cannabis mocktails and edibles by BITS and Encore. Highlights included Encore’s limited-edition Chili Melon edibles, which were a crowd favorite for their bold flavors and expertly crafted infusion.
